Monday starts the early voting period for the Nov. 3 election. In addition to 11 state constitutional amendments there is a bond election in Santa Fe, a proposition to allow alcohol sales in downtown Friendswood, a Galveston school board election and a board of directors election for the Bolivar Peninsula Special Utility District.
As we do each election we will post online and publish in The Daily News the answers submitted by candidates to questions posed in our election questionnaire. Some of the questions are the same we ask every election while others are specific to the local election.
Many of the questions come from Daily News readers.
For this election we have questionnaires for the candidates for the Galveston school board as well as the candidates for the Bolivar Peninsula Special Utility District board election. The deadline to submit answers to the questions is Tuesday.
