LEAGUE CITY — Bottoms up.
Wine enthusiasts will get the opportunity to sample wines from across the world Saturday at the South Shore Dockside Food and Wine Festival.
The festival also will feature cuisine from area eateries, culinary demonstrations, artists, automobile and boat displays and entertainment.
Guitarist Hamilton Loomis, a Galveston native, will perform Saturday night.
Kinky Friedman, a humorist, author and singer who had an unsuccessful run for Texas governor in 2006, will sign autographs and sell his signature cigars.
The wine festival is produced by the C4 Clear Creek Community Charities, a nonprofit group that provides support to charitable organizations. This year’s beneficiaries are Autism Speaks, Communities in Schools and Bay Area Pet Adoption.
