No. 4 Lady Mustangs win in straight sets

HOUSTON — The No. 4 Lady Mustangs never gave Houston Reagan a chance.
Friendswood didn’t let the Lady Bulldogs get into double-digit points, easily disposing of Reagan in straight sets, 25-6, 25-9, 25-7.
The Lady Mustangs will now play district foe Pearland Dawson at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in Alvin. Friendswood beat the Lady Eagles both times in league play, though Dawson did take one game from the Lady Mustangs.
Annie Mitchem had 10 kills and four blocks to power Friendswood (39-6) while Aimee Peck served up six aces.
Kaelan O’Neill had 12 digs and Siobhan O’Neill dished out 18 assists.
